Congratulations to our Founding Editor Patricia Murphy. Patricia’s collection of poetry Hemming Flames has won the 2017 Milt Kessler Poetry Award! The award is presented by Binghamton University and has some prestigious previous winners including Yusef Komunyakaa, Tarfia Faizullah, Jim Daniels, Marilyn Nelson, Martin Espada, C.k. Williams, Robert Bly, Ruth Stone, Albert Goldbarth, Denise Duhamel. Patricia wins a cash prize and a travel allowance to do a reading and class at Binghamton University.
