Today we are glad to share that past faculty advisor Betsy Schneider has recently released a book. To Be Thirteen chronicles 250 thirteen-year-olds, creating still portraits and video documentation of each. The body of work creates a rich collective portrait of a group of Americans whose lives began at the turn of the millennium and who are coming of age now. Purchase a copy here.
Betsy served as one of Superstition Review’s faculty advisors from Issue 10 to Issue 17.
Congratulations, Betsy!

This book sounds so cool. I think it’s awesome to see where people who have been involved with this magazine can end up, whether they were students or faculty. Can’t wait to give this a read.
This book sounds amazing. What makes it even better is that it was written by someone who once contributed their time to the magazine. Can’t wait to get my hands on this piece.
Thanks for reading, Jenna!
