The cover art is amazing and loaded with all of the one thousand words it’s worth.
I was so moved by the gritty poetic topics that Jennifer Givhan shared in issue 14. I’m really looking forward to reading her new collection.
The cover art is really interesting and serves to draw the reader’s attention. I’m going to have to get a hold of this book! I’m also going to go to Issue 14 and read her poetry.
I definitely need to get my hands on this book! After losing myself in the striking cover, reading Givhan’s poetry from Issue 14, and reading the blurb on Amazon…I’m intrigued. I mean, how can someone not be intrigued when a book is described as “[exploring] the experiences of becoming and being a mother through the lens of dark fairy tales”? This collection sounds utterly fascinating, and I look forward to reading it.
I really want to read this book. I know you are not supposed to judge a book by its cover but the cover art is so alluring and strange that it makes me want to go out and buy the book. Another saying is a picture is worth a thousand words and if the poetry in this book is as beautiful as the cover art, I can’t wait to read it.
