I absolutely love how real and funny she is in her interview from Issue 15! She writes about these serious topics but includes such a humanizing comedy that ties it all in so well, especially with music.

Congratulations to Lessa-Cross Smith on her new book! I loved her comments on creating characters in her interview, as well as what types of characters she is interested in writing. Her discussion of outside influences in her work is really great as well.
