“The Front” by Allyson Stack was the first S[R] story I read last summer. It also happened to be my introduction to the lit mag world and I remember thinking to myself- wow, what else have I been missing out on!? I look forward to reading the nominations from issue 10.

I also look forward to reading the rest of the nominations. Allyson’s story wasn’t the first S[R] story I read, but it was a good story nonetheless!

Mary’s piece is lovely. I remember Trish had to explain to me what an el is. (: I grew to appreciate the story more after that.
