I greatly enjoyed listening to Kelly read her story. As her voice came twirling out of my speakers, I read along with her. The young girls in her story came alive with her voice. There is something hard to describe yet undoubtedly special about listening to writers read their work. It is intimate and inspiring. The story is told in the tone in which the writer meant it to be. It is easier to feel it all with the writer guiding me through.
