Jill ChristmanJill Christman’s memoir, Darkroom: A Family Exposure, won the AWP Award Series in Creative Nonfiction, was first published by the University of Georgia Press in 2002, and was reissued in paperback in Fall 2011. Recent essays appearing in River Teeth and Harpur Palate have been honored by Pushcart nominations and her writing has been published in Barrelhouse, Brevity, Descant, Literary Mama, Mississippi Review, Wondertime, and many other journals, magazines, and anthologies. She teaches creative nonfiction in Ashland University’s low-residency MFA program and at Ball State University in Muncie where she lives with her husband, writer Mark Neely, and their two children.

Eric MaroneyEric Maroney is the author of two books of non-fiction, Religious Syncretism (2006) and The Other Zions (2010).  His fiction has appeared in Our Stories, The MacGuffin, ARCH, Segue, The Literary Review, Eclectica, The Montreal Review, Pif, Forge, Per Contra, Stickman Review, Samizdat, and Jewish Fiction. His non-fiction has appeared in the Encyclopedia of Identity and The Montreal Review. His story The Incorrupt Body of Carlo Busso was the runner up for the 2011 Million Writers Award. He has an MA from Boston University, and lives in Ithaca New York with his wife and two children.  He is currently at work on a novel called The Land Before You.

Amanda Auchter is the founding editor of Pebble Lake Review and the author of The Wishing Tomb, winner of the 2012 Perugia Press Award and the 2013 PEN Center USA Literary Award for Poetry, and The Glass Crib, winner of the 2010 Zone 3 Press First Book Award.  She holds an MFA from Bennington College and teaches creative writing and literature at Lone Star College.  She is currently at work on a lyric memoir about adoption and the foster care system, What Took You So Long.

Laurie Blauner Laurie Blauner is the author of two novels, Infinite Kindness and Somebody, a novella called Instructions for Living, and six books of poetry. A new novel titled The Bohemians is forthcoming in 2013 from Black Heron Press. She has received a National Endowment of the Arts Fellowship as well as Seattle Arts Commission, King County Arts Commission, 4Culture, and Artist Trust grants and awards.  She was a resident at Centrum and was in the Jack Straw Writers Program.  Her work has appeared in The New Republic, The Nation, The Georgia Review, American Poetry Review, Mississippi Review, and other magazines.

Elisabeth Lanser-Rose

Elisabeth Lanser-Rose is the author of the novel, Body Sharers (Rutgers University Press, 1993) and the memoir For the Love of a Dog (Random House 2001). Body Sharers placed among the top five finalists for the 1993 PEN/Hemingway Foundation Award for Best First Novel. She teaches in the International Baccalaureate Program in Palm Harbor and is writing a collection of dating stories, The Naked Australian and Other First Dates. Recent publications include fiction and creative nonfiction in The Tampa Review Online, Sweet: A Literary Confection, Sugar Mule Literary Magazine, and Ascent Literary Magazine.

Michael Henson

Michael Henson is author of Ransack, a novel, and A Small Room With Trouble on My Mind, a book of stories, as well as three collections of poetry. His latest work is Tommy Perdue, a novella from MotesBooks. He is a member of the Southern Appalachian Writers Cooperative and has been active with the Urban Appalachian Council and other organizations for many years. He lives in Cincinnati.

Heather AltfeldHeather Altfeld teaches composition at California State University, Chico. She is a member of the Squaw Valley Community of Writers and has published poetry inPleiades, ZYZZYVA, The Tule Review, The Squaw Valley Review, Clackamas, The Arroyo Review, and The New Guard, with poems forthcoming in The Greensboro Review and Zone 3. She has just completed her first manuscript of poems, entitledThe Disappearing Theatre. She loves to cook, travel, be outdoors, and she collects and adores children’s literature.
