Mark Lewandowski’s essays and stories have appeared in many journals, and have been listed as “Notable” in The Best American Nonrequired Reading, The Best American Travel Writing, and twice in The Best American Essays. Halibut Rodeo, his short story collection, was published in 2010. Currently, he is Associate Professor of English at Indiana State University. He has also taught as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Poland, and as a Fulbright Senior Scholar at the University of Siauliai, Lithuania.

Sheila Squillante is the author of four chapbooks of poetry and a full-length collection due out with Tiny Hardcore Press in 2014. Besides Superstition Review, her essays have appeared in places like Brevity, The Rumpus, Waccamaw, Sweet: A Literary Confection, The Inquisitive Eater, and Barrelhouse. This summer she joins the faculty of Chatham University in Pittsburgh as the associate director of their low-res MFA program in creative writing. Heather AltfeldHeather Altfeld teaches composition at California State University, Chico. She is a member of the Squaw Valley Community of Writers and has published poetry inPleiades, ZYZZYVA, The Tule Review, The Squaw Valley Review, Clackamas, The Arroyo Review, and The New Guard, with poems forthcoming in The Greensboro Review and Zone 3. She has just completed her first manuscript of poems, entitledThe Disappearing Theatre. She loves to cook, travel, be outdoors, and she collects and adores children’s literature.

Sarah MaclaySarah Maclay is the author of Music for the Black Room, The White Bride and Whore (all, University of Tampa Press). Her poems and criticism have appeared in APR, Ploughshares, FIELD, The Writer’s Chronicle, Poetry Daily, VerseDaily, The Laurel Review, The Offending Adam, The Best American Erotic Poems: 1800 to the Present, Poetry International, where she serves as Book Review Editor, and elsewhere. The recipient of a Special Mention in Pushcart Prize XXXI, a 2009 Grisham fellowship, and the Tampa Review Prize for Poetry, she teaches at Loyola Marymount University and conducts workshops at The Ruskin Art Club and Beyond Baroque.

Sara SchaffSara Schaff received her BA from Brown University and her MFA from the University of Michigan, where she served as a Lecturer in the English Department Writing Program. She has also taught in China, Colombia, and Northern Ireland. Her work has appeared in Carve Magazine, Inkwell, and Fiction Writers Review, and she was awarded a residency from the Ragdale Foundation. She is working on a novel.

jennifer macbain-stephensJennifer MacBain-Stephens is an emerging poet who has written three non-fiction books for young people: The Salem Witch Trials: A Primary Source History of the Witchcraft Trials in Salem, Massachusetts; Womens Suffrage; and Gertrude Elion: Nobel Prize Winner in Physiology and Medicine. She has also contributed to the Lake Arrowhead, CA poetry collection Pool of Seven. Jennifer graduated from NYU and after several moves around the United States, currently lives in Iowa City, IA and works at a science journal.
